This one's a golden oldie. Published in Kent State's The Daily Kent Stater, in the fall of 1984 and the spring of 1985, and The Funny Times in the mid-80s, the strip was about the adventures and observations of a wayward, bohemian jackrabbit (a Jack Kerouabbit, of sorts) and his friends. I might have attempted to develop this strip further, were it not for a certain lookalike character to make the spotlight in the advertising world a couple years later.
I have this fantasy that whoever designed that %#%# pink bunny for the battery commercials will come forward as a Kent State grad, in which it could be argued that exposure to my character inspired the design for that one. The restitution check would be nice. :-)
